Canidae is always proud to sponsor the Rescue Dog Zone at the Dog Lovers Shows.
We believe it is important to assist Rescues in the education and promotion of Responsible Pet Ownership.
Following Sydney’s Dog Lovers Show, we received a heartwarming email from one of the rescue groups on our stand which we just had to share!
Saving Staffies are so, so grateful for being able to attend The Dog lovers Show this year.
We had a litter of 9 pups arrive last Tuesday and the dog we bought to the show was unexpectedly pregnant. (That sounds funny, I know. Long story to that)
The fabulous support from the public in donating towards the upcoming vet fees was amazing and the offers of people to become Foster Carers of the pups until they are of an age for their vet work and then their adoption was also fantastic.
We are sure Lilly has at least five people waiting to see her being up for adoption and others,after meeting her, are eager to see what the pups will be like.
We could never have gotten this message out to as many people if not for our being at the show.
